Ah yes, and the LJ zealots come out of the woodwork to troll. Hi. Glad to see you have nothing else to do today.

Whatever. By the way, your nose? It's brown. Might want to clean that up.

Re:

shrug. you're the one operating under the fallacy that anyone cares about their uninformed opinions; i'm quite aware that mine are worthless

i had a lot of fun thinking about how you intended for this misdirected "volunteer" work to have speeded up the servers, maybe interns writing 1s and 0s on pieces of paper and flying them from one end of the room to the other?

the plain fact of the matter is that adding new features for paid members helps to increase the proportion of users choosing to send in money. and the more people sending in money vs just sucking up resources, the better off things are. just stop and give it a little more thought.

but, if you just want all work on everything to stop on everything until you're "impressed" by the responsiveness of the servers, you're in a small but vocal minority. let's call that group "crybabies" for the sake of argument.

Instead of the bells and whistles, I'd take what was promised for my payment any day. Just my thought. Perhaps the volunteers should be set to work on things that would actually be of help? Because I think more people would buy the service if it were reliable. A broken bicycle is still a broken bicycle, no matter how many horns and wicker baskets you add.

Don't let her get your nose out of joint. I know her. She's one of the most whiny, snarky wankers on my list.

I hope you're aware that you come across as a total jackass to neutral parties here.
