We've had some conversations recently about some of the reasons people buy Paid Accounts. Rather than try to guess, we wanted to ask you why *you* have a Paid (or Permanent) Account. Hence, a poll.

On the first question, we're looking for the handful of top reasons you have a Paid Account, so please check any of the options that were motivating factors for you. On the second, we ask that you try to narrow it down to the single biggest reason. If there was a primary or motivating reason for you that we haven't listed, please do add it in the text box provided.

Poll #1368228 What motivated you to have a Paid Account?

Please select the three to five biggest reasons you have a Paid Account

It's interesting that there aren't more people picking comment editing.

I've had a paid account so long that I honestly didn't even realize that was a paid-only feature. However, it is in my top 5 reasons. :)

Comment editing was a feature added after I started paying for a paid account. It's a nice perk, but it wasn't my primary motivation.

I briefly clicked on comment-editing, then remembered that about half the time, I just post a new comment acknowledging my error in a hopefully-humorous manner.

I agree: it's a huge benefit.

I had a paid account long before this option was available, so I don't count that.

While I use this option, I never minded deleting and reposting or posting a second comment and I find the multiple comment notifications annoying.

Comment editing was definitely my main reason to go back to paying.

It would be a reason if I got a paid account now.
However, the feature didn't exist when I purchased my permanent account, so I can't cite it as a reason I have a "paid" account. If that makes sense.

I picked that one. It helps to not make you look like a tool when your typing comes out all wrong :)

Comment editing is a fairly recent thing. I had a paid account before then, so I could not add comment editing as a reason why I decided to get a paid account.

I got so used to the old delete-repost shuffle that I still do it sometimes with my paid account.
