Unless they draw p0rns, then the members can go suck it, as it were.
OMG thanks so much!! :D
Oh in another stuff, I can't reply the news' thread where you can add your birthday so maybe *maybe* can apply here too? I'm turning 25th this August 30th :D very proud to know I'm almost in the end of the month and said "eat that, September!" lol.

Since LJ/6A isn't responding about the latest round of deletions
It's not about fictional characters who are not yet adults. It's about serious artistic merit
So ….. if my journaling literary value isn't equal to Anaïs Nin, I might not reach the Serious Standards of the LJ Abuse Team.
Hey, LJ, how about giving us, fandom people, our money back? From my account and my RP account, too. As in NOW.
thanks,I still love LJ <3

Thank you but no thank you.
Since this power outage was beyond your control I will not be collecting on any extra days of paid time for either of my paid accounts.
Some things just can't be controlled and this is one of them.
Thank you very much though for the offer.
Also, during this power outage I missed my access to LJ. Since LJ was not available I had to actually pick up one of those square paper thingies that are thick and have like a lot of paper in it with words on both sides of the paper and stuff. I always though they were used to balance out that damn short leg on your coffee table but they also serve another purpose.
It was very interesting actually. If you read them long enough they actually tell a story.
But thank you once again LJ for your offer. Once you told us of the power outage I thought someone might have hit the power shutoff switch again. Let us not dwell on that infamous issue once again shall we? :D
Plz to not B dicking over teh paid members of fandomz?
they want us all to go to myspace....they want us all to get abused.

(That's me, by the way)
I'm in your fandom, abusing your redheads.
I think I want refunds for any money I've spent on Livejournal.

I Gave LJ the Benefit of the Doubt
To the LJ/6A Staff,
During Strikethrough '07, I was patient. Once an apology was issued & it appeared that steps were being taken to ensure that the use of journal suspension would be more carefully examined in the future, I was more than willing to give a second chance. I even considered buying a permanent account, finally deciding to stick with a paid account & a t-shirt.
After this weekend, it would seem my trust was misplaced.
I am not really a big member of any fandom. I do not like pornography, so in little bit I am involved in any fandom, I tend to stay more toward fluff, hints & allusion & away from graphic. However I do recognize the huge difference between depictions of fictional characters engaged in sexual acts & child molestation. These deletions worry me, as I said during Strikethrough '07, because I cannot be sure when some of my interests, topics that I am interested in, will be targeted. Shounen-ai/Yaoi or Shoujo-ai/Yuri? Homosexuality & Gay rights? Lolita fashion? It could all potentially be targeted if someone complains.
Fandom is an ENORMOUS part of your consumer base. Yes, I am aware LJ has advertiser sponsorship now, but you also have paying customers. It seems that the image you present to the advertisers is more important to you than the image you present to your customers, which includes paid members.
As such, I am not sure that I can offer my support anymore. I will be looking for a new journal service (which, if anyone reading this has has any suggestions, please let me know- I'm currently scoping out Xanga & Blurty). I will not be renewing my paid account. I still wish your company luck, for the sake of yourself & your customers.

And why exactly does it say the offer has expired!? It's not August 6th yet.
Going by GMT, it's already past midnight
Okay, it says it expired, but I'm pretty sure I still have a few minutes left, unless I'm doing the time zone calculations wrong in my head...
Ah, turns out I was doing it completely wrong in my head. Well...that sucks pretty hard. Thanks, LJ.
