While I question the 'harmless' nature of these stories too many people wish to portray, the number one reason for which I can see people being angry is the amount of time it took for 6A to communicate what was going on with LJ. That I understand. Had my journal been suspended and I could not find out why I would be pissed as well. However, I feel like once I found out what was going on and they company did, in fact, issue a mea culpa (which is above what many corporations would do outside of saying 'bummer for you') I would get over it and move on.

But, you are correct, that's me and other people aren't like that. I do not get the LJ exodus or the the fact it's still a huge deal, but whatever. The awesome thing about this situation is that (like the first comment in this post pointed out) you do have a recourse if you feel that betrayed - don't give them your money.
