Just curious. If I 'track' someone's thread/post/whatever, will this person know that I am doing that?
Finally! Thanks a bunch!
That Message Center seems handy... but wouldn't it be 10 times more practical if one could integrate it into "My LJ"?
Coming soon! Not sure when, but soon. :)
If I may ask an OT question...
Why are Paid/Perm users now being forced to see "sponsored communities" on the homepage while logged in, which is just a sneaky way for a company to advertise on LJ with an account, when we were promised we'd never have to see ads less than 5 months ago?
I'm a paid member, and I'm not having that problem. I saw the sponsored communities after I logged out, but as soon as I logged in again they were no longer there. Just the spotlight ones.
Yep, it's me again. Am I overlooking something, or is there currently not an option to get a notification when someone replies to a comment?
Someone replied to a comment I made on a post I'm not tracking, and while I got the email notification I didn't get any other thing in the message centre.
Correct: currently, there's no way to get a notification when someone replies to a comment you posted (or an entry you post in a community) without subscribing to that comment/entry. However, we'll be adding "global" subscriptions in the near future, like, "Notify me when someone replies to a comment I post" or "Notify me when someone replies to an entry or comment I post", something like that. :)
How do I remove my "paying member" status and get my money back? (Or is there a way to absolutely block this "feature" from my journal and all my comments?)
question: is there a way to give someone else the rest of my paid account? and how do i cancel my payment?
vote lukas rossi tuesday night
just one more thing that doesn't work. I have a paid account yet it wo't post polls, won't do phone post and now this. wtf?
1) if someone subscribed to comments of my post and I changed security, limiting post visibility to specific group. And the someone does not belong to this group. Will he receive comment notifications anyway?
2) I subscribed to notifications about changes in "friend-of" list. Is there any way to block notifications from banned users when he friends me? There is some automatic scripts running over LJ that friends and unfriends me (and other people randomaly) every day and this getting annoying. I banned him, but this didn't help - I receive notifications anyway, despite he does not appear in "friend-of" list.
Where do you go to resolve account issues?
Hi, I'm a paid member and I don't want to let somebody track updates and changes in my livejournal. How can I disable this feature in my journal?
I allready have a problem.
I need your help.
Because all my Report about violation false.
It's about http://alkagoliki.livejournal.com/
It's a bot controled and he is adding me as a friend several time a day.
is it legal to use a bot on Live journal..?
Hello, sorry if this is the wrong place to put it but I am kinda angry with the news of live journal doing more ad's and I wanted to clearly make sure livejournal knows of my unhappyness with what they are doing.
I've been a paid user for a few years now, and I pay because I like the exclusivness of features you get with paying. What I have to ask is why am I paying if I will just get features for free that I am supposed to get with paying? In other words I think live journal now that you don't need my money with these sponsored content I can cancel my sponsorship right? that is what you are saying to me. I mean why am I paying if I can get things free now? Also the idea of me seeing ads even if I pay sucks, just the idea that I will see ads while being a payed member makes me sick enough to cancel my membership and look for a new site to do journaling through. I will give you time Livejournal, but look if I see one ad happen while being a paid member I am leaving!!!!!!!!!!!! LIVE JOURNAL you have disapointed me and ticked me off!!!!
Could someone tell me how I can get a Permanent account. I am a LJ whore and I love it, I have also been a paid account holder for close to 2 years.
