To coincide with the launch of automatic payments announced in the latest news post, we are providing an exclusive offer for existing paid account holders (as of 8/14/05). Get three months of bonus paid time when you switch your account to automatic payments and select the 12-month billing cycle. This offer ends October 15, 2005. Read the fine print.

By the way, our auto-magical new system will take into account your remaining paid time and prorate your charges, so if you have six months of remaining paid time and you sign up for automatic payments on a 12-month billing cycle, then you’ll have a total of 15 months of paid time and only be charged $9.98 (half of $19.95).

What does this mean....

Authorization capture error: The security information from your card does not match the information you entered.

The code on the back of my card was entered correctly. I have recently changed my address, could that be it? If so, does that mean I can't do this until I've changed my address with my bank?

You need to enter whatever address the bank has on file for your card.

I don't live at that address anymore and I don't want anything sent there... Does that pose a problem?

That "Unable to generate MU" cruft should be fixed now. Sorry about the hassle.

Let us know in accounts@livejournal.com if you're still having problems after you try again.

No. LJ isn't going to be sending anything by mail anyway. I would however, change the address at the bank and with LJ as soon as you can... just to keep all your info current.
