|Paid Time Reimbursement

In light of the rough periods we've experienced during the past couple of weeks, outgrowing our network topology & being attacked in a Distributed Denial of Service, we thought it only fair to give back some of your paid time.|
Those of you who had a paid account during the month of June are eligible for an instant 2 weeks of free service, even if your paid account has since expired. Alternatively, if you have plans to purchase 6 or 12 months of service during the next week, you're eligible to receive 2 additional months of service for free. Both offers can be found for the next 7 days on the Paid Time Reimbursement page, and they apply to any eligible account you manage (communities, etc).
We apologize for the recently spotty service, but as always we're working hard to overcome these challenges.
We'd like to clarify that the 2 month option is only available for payments that have been fully processed, so it can take a while for the reimbursement page to update with the proper option. If you only see the 2 week option on the reimbursement page, either refresh the page or wait until your payment has totally cleared (Our credit card processing should be instant, but PayPal payments can sometimes take hours to clear).
Note: We're still running into some issues checking for accounts that have expired in the past month, and there are still some instances where people are getting "you are ineligible" errors. We're working as fast as we can to fix these problems, so please be patient. I'll update this post again when I have more information.
Update: We've made a couple of changes for eligibility checks, so if you were getting the "you are ineligible" error before you should try again.

Seriously, that was a quite remarkably cool thing to do.
My 6 month paid account just expired last night (June 30th) and I am getting the following message when I go to see about my reimbursement: Work as user: joecichlid
From time to time when we feel it necessary we offer free paid time extensions to our paid users who were affected by long periods of site slowness/downtime.
You are not currently eligible to receive any paid time.
Any idea what is up with that?

Why am I not eligible?
Thanks so much! It first I felt like I was going to have to cancel this service because the site was running so slow. But now I totally understand, of course now I wish I didn't sign up for the paid account until after the first of July, but oh well. Thanks again!
ahh, i was wondering what was with the slowness.
I don't know if I'm eligible or not. My LJ expired this June, and when I click on the link, it still says I no paid time or something.

I have two paid accounts. One is my regular journal, the other is a community. My regular journals account has been extended by 2 weeks - thank you very much. The community, however, says it isn't eligible. Is this because the paid time expired yesterday? It was a paid account during the month of June and you say:

So I really feel that my community should benefit from the 2 weeks as well. Certainly, I intend to purchase 6 months paid time with the offer you have at the moment, but I won't be doing that until I understand why I am not getting the two weeks. Thanks.

Well, thanks muchly for doing this. I decided to add some paid time to my journal, rather than simply take two-weeks and run, 'cos, like others have said above me, I believe in this site, this service and this community.
Semantic-wise, would this be for the FULL month of June, and it expired today (1 July)?
were paid for... at least twenty, twenty-five days into the month (I've deleted the "account expired" emails so I couldn't tell you when exactly), but both are ineligible.
Ah well. It'd only be useful in the art journals' case for changing the sidebar (if I decided there was yet another link I needed to put there).
Quick question - does the 2 month option apply when the time is purchased as a gift (since I usually pay for my and my partner's time at the same time)?
